Mudra Mantra Mandala (MMM)
Experience the secret of dance in your heart, the force of traditional mantras and the spiritual and collective power of synchronised movements and group formations.
We practice within the sacred dance tradition founded by Paramjyoti and its basic elements. We work with both free and set movement. We explore the interplay of body-movement and mind in mudras, learn simple step sequences to mantras we chant and dance (instant) choreographed mandala dances in group formation.
MMM part 2 is on “Mantra”. We sing different Mantras and learn particulary on those mantra choreographed steps. As we repetitively sing and dance the mantra in a circle, we deeply connect and integrate its beneficial qualities directly in our cells and (body-) awareness. We will also start learning basic steps for the MANDALA choreography from MANDALA short film or, depending on the interest of the group, as an alternative, weave the different mantras we sang and its dance sequences into one new mandala choreography.
Prerequisites: MMM is a four-part seminar series of “Devadasi – Dance of the Heart”. Joining in for MMM2 is open and possible for all.
The seminar will be accompanied by live music.
Seminar language is primarily German. Translation into English is available on request.
Seminar Fee: CHF 380.- for registration until 91 days prior to the beginning of the seminar, afterwards CHF 430.-. In case you have already participated in a previous MMM cycle and would like to participate again, we can discuss your role within the seminar and you may receive a discount.

We hold the seminar in the Ballet school Küssaberg. Here our seminar times and accommodation situation change slightly: You may choose to arrive Friday evening. In Bad Zurzach is a thermal bath, you may want to enjoy before arrival at the Ballett School. The seminar starts Saturday morning. Please book your own accommodation in the nearby guest houses and hotels. Simple accommodation with own bedding is possible in the dance hall itself. Arriving by train, choose to travel to Bad Zurzach in Switzerland or Waldshut-Tiengen, Kreis Waldshut in Germany. Also pay attention to public transportation from the railway station to Kadelburg. Of course prior to your arrival, shared rides can be organized amongst the group.The location of the school is right at the German-Swiss border. Food and accomodation is not included in the seminar fee. A Pakistani restaurant is downstairs in the same building other restaurants are around, too, a baker is around the corner and a bit longer (walking) distance are further food stores.
Arrival on Friday at 7.30 pm in the Ballettschool possible.
Seminar times: 9.30am–1pm, 3.30–5.30pm, 7.30–9pm, Sunday 9 am–1pm (11 hours)
We enjoy closing the seminar with sharing lunch in the restaurant downstairs. So please calculate time in for this!
