DESCRIPTION:ascending\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				A new project series by Infinite.dance is ascending. A group of whirling dancers from the Devadasi – Dance of the Heart School perform a whirling dance ritual that is open to the public. \nThe higlich aesthetic aspect of the whirling dance practice may inspires spectators to watch. They can sit\, stand and change place from time to time. This allows them to gain new perspectives. Their physical presence becomes a part of the movement that takes place in the space. \nAbove all\, the event invites introspection. Into our own hearts and into the spirit that inspires\, enlivens\, and uplifts us. Perhaps someone will sit down to meditate or recite prayers. Others may even want to join in the dance? \nascending is a hybrid of a performance and an invitation to actively participate. Those who would like to dance along are kindly requested to attend an introduction to the whirling dance practice prior to the event itself. Announcements can be found in the online calendar. An 1.5-hour introduction is usually offered before an event. It will be announced at short notice and will take place on the evening before or on the day of the event itself. \nThose who are already familiar with the spinning dance are kindly asked to inform us in advance of their desire to dance with us. This gives the chance to all who are involved\, to familiarize with the spirit and style of whirling dance according to the school of Infinite.dance. \nThe whirling dance offering\, that is being presented with live music\, is meditative and at times even ecstatic. Its frequency and radiance is grace\, peace and freedom. In the infinite whirl that is rooted in the unmoving\, bliss shimmers.
